Our annual Lobster Supper is on Sunday June 8th from 2 to 5 pm.  Enjoy a 2 lb lobster with potato salad, cole slaw and homemade roll for $25.  Eat in or take out.  110 tickets are available and must be purchased before Thursday, June 5th at 5 PM; at the the Branch

 

Branch Summer hours are:

  • Mondays and Thursdays  2 to 5 pm
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays   2 to 10 pm
  • Saturdays and Sundays  1 to 5 pm

 

A Tuesday night open dart league will start on May 13th at 7 pm.

 

Looking ahead, mark your calendar for:

  1. a Friday night dance, May 23rd,  to the music of Spectrum
  2. a Saturday afternoon Kitchen Party on May 31st 

Of interest to veterans:

  • The Government of Nova Scotia is planning to award a Certificate of Recognition to Nova Scotian Peacekeepers who served during the period of 1947 to 1988, when Peacekeepers were acknowledged with a Nobel Peace Prize.  Application forms are on the Branch website and can be emailed or mailed to the coordinator Fred Leblanc.  Deceased Peacekeepers can also be recognised.

Financial assistance for post-secondary eduacation:  our Branch offers bursaries to children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of veterans.  Applications must be submitted by May 23rd 2025.  Information is at Remembrance/Poppy
