The Branch Early Bird Membership Renewal Contest, ends tomorrow, November 30th 2025. The 2026 membership dues are $60.00, but, any member who renews before the end of November, will be entered into a draw to win their membership free.  Don’t miss your opportunity to participate in the draw and maintain the many benefits your Legion membership offers. 

NOTICE TO MEMBERS - BRANCH ELECTIONS 
The leadership of your Branch will be elected on 9 December at 7PM - As a member of the Branch Executive, you have an opportunity to bring forth new ideas and solutions that will help shape the direction of the Branch to ensure its continued success!

Qualification to Vote and/or Hold Office 

  • All Life, Ordinary, Associate and Affiliate-Voting Members, in good standing, have the right to vote or hold office. 
  • In all cases, to be elected to the Branch Executive, a member must have been a branch member in good standing for 12 months immediately preceding the election. 
  • To be elected Branch President, a member must have attended a minimum of 6 general meetings during the current election year and must have served a minimum of one year as a Branch Officer.
  • To be elected Vice President (1st, 2nd & 3rd), a member must have served a one-year term on the Branch executive. 

The following 16 elected offices, plus the office of Immediate Past President (not elected), comprise the Executive Committee for a term of 1 year: 

• President 

• 1st Vice President 

• 2nd Vice President 

• 3rd Vice President 

• Secretary 

• Treasurer 

• Branch Service Officer 

• Chaplain 

• Sgt. At Arms 

• 7 Executive-at-large members 

Nominations 

Members willing to serve on the Executive Committee for 2026 can have their name added to the nomination list any time before the election on 9 December or be present at the meeting and be nominated from the floor. Anyone who is unable to attend must submit in writing the position they wish to stand for and their willingness to serve if elected.
