Valentine’s TGIF – Feb 13th. A three-course dinner; soup and a roll, roast beef and dessert.
Advance tickets are available at the bar starting this Friday until Wednesday Feb 11th. - there will be no tickets sold at TGIF on Feb 13th. Meal tickets are $12, and $3 for dessert. Everyone is welcome.

Employment Opportunity - Part-time Bartender with Eastern Marine Br. 161
General Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Assist with stocking and inventory control of bar supplies, canteen items and merchandise
- Assist with Hall Rental Bookings
- Handle cash transactions
- Maintain VLTs, including payouts and collection of funds
- Receive payments and issue receipts for membership dues and donations
- Answer and direct telephone calls and inquiries
- Enforce Provincial Liquor Legislation & Regulations
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests
- Criminal Records Check
- Accreditation in “Serve Right” and Responsible Gaming, as well as First Aid, CPR, AED, and Food Handling Safety (training and compensation provided if necessary)
- Lifting up to 13.5kg (30lbs)
- Schedule/Hours of work include day, evening, and some weekend shifts, 3-8 hours per shift
