The ticket holder of Friday, August 14th Chase the Ace Draw, won $48.00 but missed picking the Ace.  The August 21st Jackpot will build on $1064.00.  Tickets are sold Sunday thru Thursday, between 2 and 4pm, and from 2 to 6 pm on Friday.

JUST FOR MEATS AND GIGGLES - August 28th, 7:30 to 11 pm.  Cost is $10.00 per player and teams will be picked by draw that evening.  Open to both men and women. 

The Ways and Means Committee will meet on Tuesday, September 8th at 6 pm to organize social activities until January 1st.   Volunteers are needed to help in all areas that Ways and Means support so please consider if you can helpmwith at least one activities or event.  If you want more information, then contact Comrade Debbie Wallace or come to the meeting. 

Branch Fall Yard Sale is Sept 12th from 9am till 3pm.  Now is the time to gather the things you no longer want and to either donate them to the Branch or rent a table to sell them yourself.  Articles for the Branch tables, can be left at the Branch beginning on Sep 2nd.  Tables can be rented for $15 each with a maximum of 2 tables per vendor.  Please don't delay reserving tables - Call the Branch and leavce your information or speak with Debbie, 902-219-1360. 
There will also be the regular barbecue food and pop available for purchase and a 50/50 draw.

A Funtastic Ladies Dart league begins on Tuesday, September 22nd from 6 to 10 pm.
