Membership in the Royal Canadian Legion is open to anyone who is:

• Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation
• 18 years of age or older and
• who supports the objects and purposes of the Legion

To apply for membership, complete the attached, fillable Application Form and deliver, or mail it, with a cheque for $60.00, to:

1 year free membership is available to:

• serving and retired CAF and RCMP members
• their families
• graduates of the Canadian Cadet program.
• all Canadians during 2026 in celebration of the Legions' 100th Anniversay

Membership in Eastern Mearine Branch 161 is subject to the approval of our members and completion of a Welcome ceremony.  Your membership application will be considered by the Branch members at a monthly General Meeting and you will be asked to attend a monthly meeting to be Welcomed to the Branch.

There is an annual membership renewal fee, payable in advance of January 1st in each calendar year.  This fee maintains your membership status.
