Eastern Marine Branch 161 is accepting bids for snow clearing over the 2025 / 2026 season with an option for a second year.
Description of Work:
• Clear snow from the parking lot and lot entrances on Highway 7
• Shovel snow from the Main entrance on the parking lot
• Shovel snow from:
• The patio entrance
• Upper entrance and walkway along the driveway
• Accessibility ramp
Conditions of Contract:
• Term of the contract is from December 15th, 2025 to March 31st 2026. A ‘per each’ price is required for the shoulder months of December 2025 and March 2026.
• Snow clearing of the parking lot, entrances on Highway 7 and the Main entrance is to be completed one (1) hour prior to the Branch opening (1 PM daily). The Branch will notify the contractor of any special event that may require an earlier completion.
• Snow clearing of the patio entrance, Upper entrance and walkway along the driveway
and accessibility ramp are to be quoted separately in the bid.
• If snow is to be removed from the property, the cost of removal will be negotiated separately.
• Application of salt, sand and /or crusher dust is to be quoted and may be quoted as either a “per each” or in the monthly bid. However, the bid is to specify which option is being quoted.
• Billing is to be monthly and will be paid at month’s end
• Proof of liability insurance for at least $2,000,000.00 is to be included with the bid
If you wish to bid on this contract, please submit your sealed bid, “Attention the Secretary”, by mail or personal delivery to the Branch between the hours of 2 and 10 PM weekdays (or 1 and 5 PM on weekends) and no later than December10th, 2025.
