The Branch has two AEDs:

• a LifePAc CR Plus located downstairs in the main lounge, and 
• a LifePac CR2 located upstairs on the left wall of the hall.

Bar staff, Bingo volunters and several members of the Executive are trained and have a certificate from St. John Ambulance in Basic First Aid and the use of AEDs.

AEDs are designed to verbally prompt anyone in how to use an AED.  Videos are also available on the internet that show how the LifePac CR Plus and LifePac CR2 generally function.  Videos are however simplified and do not show the entire, repeated CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) cycles of chest compressions and resuscitation between the 2 minute AED cycle.
